Cardiff Castle

A true Welsh Gem, this Castle has so many interesting facets to it. The Normans established it as there claim to the area in the early 10th Century, then used throughout the medieval area by the monarchy as one of their many 'homes' and lastly during WWII it was a bomb shelter. This is a must see.

Castle Corch- Mid Glamorgan South Wales

Although not a medieval castle it has much charm and heritage attached to it, a definite visit.
